Dean's Message 

With the influence and change the concepts of information and communication have brought to many areas of our lives, the method and scope of education given in the field of communication has begun to change as well. We can summarise our educational philosophy as follows:

  • Academic and ethical perfectionism,
  • An education programme that utilises information technologies effectively and adapts to a rapidly changing world,
  • Concrete learning outcomes, knowledge, and skills in line with the necessities of both academic and professional life, and
  • Educating students equipped with qualifications needed to adapt to the world.

Beykent University Faculty of Communication being aware of the reality of new generation communication and an important stakeholder of this transformation, provides education with far-reaching course programmes and experienced academic staff in their own field in an innovative approach. Our students explore and develop their creativity in applied courses done in studios and Mac Laboratories equipped with advanced technological infrastructure.

In our Departments that combine comprehensive academic and technical education and knowledge with sectoral experience, our students get a chance to attend universities abroad with Erasmus Exchange Programme and also do a Double Major or a Minor. In addition, our graduates have the opportunity to pursue their academic career with a full scholarship in our Master’s Degree programme Media and Communication Systems. Attending seminars, activities and workshops organized throughout the year, they will also have a rich CV and get a start in the business world as important stakeholders of the sector. Today, our graduates take their professional positions as creative, knowledgeable, confident individuals in a wide range of communication fields from advertising and public relations to the new media and television sector. Our doors are open to students who wish to have a career in communication, and gain respect and success in the future world of communication.
